We would like to inform you about a recently disclosed critical security vulnerability affecting cPanel & WHM, identified as CVE-2026-41940.

This vulnerability may allow unauthorized access to the control panel if systems are not properly updated.

All customers managing their own servers or VPS environments must immediately verify that their cPanel & WHM installation is fully up to date.

Please ensure you are running one of the following patched versions (or newer):

  • 11.110.0.97
  • 11.118.0.63
  • 11.126.0.54
  • 11.132.0.29
  • 11.134.0.20
  • 11.136.0.5

What you should do

  • Log in to your WHM panel
  • Check your current cPanel version
  • Run a full update if your version is outdated
  • Enable automatic updates if not already configured

Important

There is currently no workaround for this issue—updating to a patched version is the only way to secure your server.

Failure to update may expose your system to unauthorized access and potential compromise.
